The Labor Government is not taking the serious and urgent action the climate crisis demands of our political leaders. In recent months Tanya Plibersek has approved four new climate-wrecking coal projects.
And to top it off, this week Minister Plibersek’s decision to not consider climate harm when assessing new coal mines is being defended in court by Whitehaven Coal and Mach Energy!
What the heck Plibersek?! This Thursday we’re calling out the minister for picking the side of coal billionaires, not a safe climate future for us all. Join us:
When: 9:45am for press conference at 10, this Thursday 21st September.
Where: Tanya Plibersek’s office, 267 Cleveland St, Redfern.
What: Join with residents from the Sydney electorate to launch the billboard and a press conference to demonstrate to Plibersek the deep community support for stopping new coal and gas.
