On October 10th, join Aunty Sue on Kaurna Land in Adelaide for a rally against Southern Launch, Thales, the Australian Space Agency, the ADF, and US military firing rockets and missiles onto her Country without her consent.
Join us for an evening of delicious food, hearty discussion and new skills. The night will start with a shared meal, then we will move into community announcements, then into open space workshops, with lots of space for social breaks throughout.
October will be the first SAGE at the Conservation Council's new building, the Exchange! We're trialling this new space for the final two SAGEs of the year to see if it suits our needs, so come help us pressure test it.
For September, SAGE’s headline session will allow us to look back over the last 3 years and celebrate, and then look forward in this transition and recognise that whilst it brings tensions it also brings opportunities for growth. What is the future potential and opportunities we want to continue creating together as a community and how do we find our part in this?
Stand in solidarity with Googatha Elder Aunty Sue for an urgent snap rally as Southern Launch prepares to fire a missile on her Country without consent, transparency, or any public evidence that the legally-required launch permits even exist.
For August, SAGE’s headline session will cover the algal bloom off SA’s coasts, with guests that will give us scientific, cultural and activist perspectives.
