Hundreds of people marched for Palestine on August 2 to demand the federal Labor government imposes sanctions Israel. The rally started at the State Library and marched to Flinders Street Station.

Tasnim Mahmoud Sammak from Free Palestine Coalition Naarm discussed the growth in the fat right and the complicity of Western imperialist countries in Israel’s genocide.
Other speakers included Amin Abbas, founding board member of the Olive Kids Foundation, Damian Walsh, an Australian nurse who volunteered in Gaza and Shahar Amir, an anti-Zionist Jew, who spent time in the West Bank supporting Palestinians.
