The Palestine Action Group called a rally on September 13 to demand the Anthony Albanese government sanction Israel and end the two-way arms trade.
It also demanded that all the charges against people who protested Isaac Herzog are dropped and charges are bought against NSW Police who bashed protesters.
A large banner paid tribute to aid worker Zomi Frankcom; speakers demanded the federal Labor government insist on Israel charging those responsible for her and other aid workers’ deaths.
Speakers also noted that Israel’s assault on Palestinians is escalating across Gaza and the West Bank, and yet Albanese and foreign minister Penny Wong refuse to ban trade with illegal West Bank settlements, as Britain, Canada and France are doing.
