The Sudanese-Australian community mobilised outside the State Library on April 29, calling for an end to the armed conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in Sudan. They want a return to civilian rule.

They also called on the Labor government to do more to help Sudanese caught up in the extreme violence.
