Children's exhibition launched

By Bill Mason

BRISBANE — Residents here have been the first to view a national exhibition of drawings by refugee children from Croatia, Bosnia-Hercegovina and the Nagyatad refugee camp in Hungary.

The 250 framed drawings are being brought to Australia by the Croatian Relief Fund. They are being exhibited in south-east Queensland until July 5, before moving to other Australian cities.

The proceeds from sale of any drawings will go toward buying much-needed education supplies for these children as well as other basic humanitarian relief.
