A protest called by Campaign Against Racism and Fascism against a fundraiser organised by Pauline Hanson and Barnaby Joyce drew about 400 at Moonee Ponds Junction on June 12.

In response to the community outrage against the far-right fundraiser, just hours before it was scheduled to begin the venue owners cancelled, forcing One Nation to move its gig to Canvas House in South Melbourne.

Some protesters went there while others stayed in Moonee Ponds, marching down Mt Alexander Rd to the old venue to hear speeches.
