We all deserve the freedom to be ourselves, but right now the trans and gender diverse community is under attack. Across Queensland and the country, people are stepping up and taking action. The Trans Justice Project has been working to build this movement nationwide, and they are coming to Gimuy to help us grow our strength, identify our priorities, and find our way forward together.
The work we do locally matters. By understanding the political climate we are in, and by organising here, we help build the momentum needed for change across the state and country.
At the training we will cover skills in strategy, building community power, organising actions, and how you can get involved locally while contributing to the broader movement.
