Minns is trying to silence the Palestine movement in schools, just like he trying to ban slogans supporting Palestinian rights.

Jad Salamah a student of Palestinian background through sumud (steadfastness) and courage together with his legal team has beat the NSW Education Department. They have backed down to allow Palestinian students to wear keffiyeh at school at certain times. There were large protests supporting Jad when he was barred from his formal for wearing keffiyeh at his graduation.

Minns must completely lift persecution of Palestinians in schools, including the keffiyeh ban.

Without consultation, he has introduced code of conduct changes that target teachers generally, including those who support Palestinian human rights. But Minns still continues to ignore APAN's report documenting over fifty instances of anti-Palestinian racism in NSW schools.

We will rally at Premier Minns office in our keffiyeh to call for the freedom for all students and teachers to celebrate Palestinians and the Palestinian culture, and also rejecting the false concept of neutrality on genocide.
