Forum: The Fight for Rainbow Rights in NSW:  Religious Discrimination, Conversion Therapy and Greenwich's Equality Bill

A timely forum and discussion about the campaign for LGBTIQA+ rights in NSW. NSW Parliament hosted far-right, anti-trans speakers from various political parties and have passed an anti-LGBTIQA+ religious discrimination bill. Premier Chris Minns said this was fulfilling a '100 day after the election promise' to religious organisations. Meanwhile the state ALP reneges on their 100 days after the election promise to pass the ban on. gay conversion therapy. Where are we at on LGBTIQA+ rights in NSW? What can be done to advance a ban on gay conversion and win self-ID and Safe Schools?

With:

Alastair Lawrie, Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Public Interest Advocacy Centre, and long-term advocate for anti-discrimination law reform including via his website www.alastairlawrie.net

Amanda Cohn, Greens MLC NSW.
