School students walked out of school around Australia and the world as part of the School Strike 4 Climate on March 15. Organisers estimated 150,000 students, parents, unionists and community members joined the strike in more than 60 locations around Australia.

Activists are demanding politicans take real action on climate change, including moving to 100% renewables by 2030 and stopping the Adani mega coalmine.
