Join the Political Economy of Palestine reading group! Open to anyone, in any state - this is an interstate reading group, with chapters based all over the country.
This 13-week reading group will the explore the political economy of Palestine through critical, interdisciplinary, and decolonial perspectives. Running from August 2025, this group brings together academics, activists, and community members to examine settler colonialism, resistance economies, global imperialism, and pathways to liberation. The syllabus is available here.

The purpose of the reading group is to develop interest, knowledge, understanding, and expertise in the various and diverse political economy dilemmas and crises that relate to Palestine. The topics covered also have broader relevance outside their strict application to Palestine, and so we will read these themes by considering how they relate to, and are situated within, a broader global political economy.
There are no requirements, whether of expertise or otherwise, for readers to join their local Reading Group, and there is equally no mandated attendance; readers are encouraged to be involved in whatever depth and capacity they are able.
