Why
After our first three hugely enjoyable and successful BBQs we've set the dates for the rest of 2026! The BBQs are held on the third Sunday every second month, at QT Hub, 11 am - 2pm:
- 17 May
- 19 July
- 20 September
- 15 November
The BBQ is about more than sharing a meal - it's about coming together, supporting one another, and building a culture of care and connection, especially at a time when the cost-of-living crisis and fuel crisis is affecting so many in our community.
We will have a range of meat, vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free options available.
We're also hosting a Pop-up Op Shop with all kinds of free items for children and adults. The Peoples' Library will also be there with a selection of books for you to borrow.
You'll also have an opportunity, if interested, to learn more about the Anti-Poverty Network and how to become involved with anti-poverty work.
The venue is accessible and we also provide transport support.
We would love for you to join us!
