Replace our most polluting power stations with clean energy
Create new clean jobs and industries
Guarantee to cut pollution over the next term of government
Support poor and vulnerable countries to tackle the impacts of climate change

A lecture by Professor Tony McMichael on the consequences of climate change for our wellbeing, health and survival. The looming toll of heatwaves and bushfires, infectious diseases, extreme weather events and impaired food yields will impact Australia and the world, with sequeleae for health and population and community displacement.

Convergence on Canberra to save the lives of Iranian refugees in Camp Ashraf, Iraq. Stop hanging, stoning and cruel punishment in Iran. Demonstration to begin outside Parliament House at 12:30pm, to arrive at the Iraqi embassy at 2:30pm. Organised by the Association to Defend Freedom and Human Rights in Iran-Australia.

The artwork series focuses on the loss, destruction and tragedy imposed on our environment.
Australian landscape sites represented include Mildura, Lake Mungo, Murray-Darling Basin, Canberra and Lake George.
