Why

Stand for forests this March!

Wooditchup (Margaret River) will take part in the nationwide March for Forests on Sunday 22nd March.

The MRYCC, Parents for Climate MR and the Action and Resilience Collective warmly invite you to join us as we stand with groups across the country to demand the federal government ends native forest logging.

We have successfully stopped native forest logging in WA, but our beautiful forests are still under threat. From the mining machines of Alcoa to destructive prescribed burns to poorly planned developments.

Every tree counts - from giant Marris to tiny seedlings. they clean our air, filter our water and provide homes to hundreds of creatures. They cool us with their shade and lift us with their beauty and they take decades to reach full height. They cannot be replaced.

We will gather on stolen Wadandi Boodja at 11am in Reuther Park for uplifting speakers and great live music before marching down the Main Street.

Please join us as we stand together for the trees!
