Why

Join us on Wednesday 11 February for a quiet vigil in solidarity with Palestine, in pursuit of peace.

As our PM rolls out the red carpet this week for a man that has signed bombs he knew would be dropped on children, it is more important than ever that we keep showing up for the voices that are continually marginalised in the global narrative.

Wear black. Bring your keffiyehs and watermelons, and share with likeminded friends and colleagues.

This is a quiet/silent event with no speeches or drums. All welcome, with attention to the fact that Women in Black is a peaceful movement led by women, with feminist values. No antisemitic, antiIslamic, anti-Palestinian, racist, misogynistic, sexist, or otherwise hateful material or rhetoric will be permitted at our events. We stand on Kaurna land.
