Why

This Wednesday evening, we stand as always for peace and an end to the systematic mass killing of innocent people in Palestine, and now in Iran.

It is more important than ever that we remain united in our values for an end to colonial militarism, in pursuit of peace and basic human rights for all. We must show that we stand not in hate, but in pursuit of a peaceful future and the upholding of International Law in these turbulent times.

Join us for a quiet vigil in solidarity. Wearing black is encouraged. We stand on Kaurna land.

For updates check the Facebook event.

Note: Women in Black is a peaceful, female-led movement with feminist values. No antisemitic, anti-Islam, anti-Palestinian, anti-Iranian, violent, sexist, or otherwise hateful content or rhetoric will be tolerated at our events. This is a quiet vigil without speeches or drums, all are welcome.
