  • Save Waterloo: Love, Art, Revolution Film and Feast

    Alongside Saturday’s famous free Waterloo sausage sizzle, we will show 90 minutes of short films about battles for green spaces and the environment, gender and social justice short films. Highlights shared from the first Love, Art and Revolution Film Festival, which was held in Gadi/Sydney in April 2023.

  • Sydney LGBTI+ rally: Defend Trans rights and stop the religious discrimination bill!

    It's been more than five years since we won marriage equality and still there is so much to fight for. Right wing bigots are targeting Drag storytime events across the country pushing dangerous lies against LGBTI+ people. Discrimination in schools and workplaces continues and the ALP remain committed to a "religious discrimination bill" that will entrench anti-LGBTI+ discrimination in our society.

    All individuals and groups interested in queer and trans rights, building community engagement, plus campaigning against transphobia, and the far-right, are invited to the Rainbow Rights Roundtable.

  • Drag Rally

    Queer people are under attack around the world. Most recently the far-right groups have attacked Drag Story Hours, leading many queer events to be cancelled in some cities. These attacks made their way to Perth with a gaggle of bigots screaming at children and displaying Nazi salutes at a drag story hour event at Perth Library.

  • Love, Art and Revolution Film Festival

    Come together and be inspired by international film adventures. This free and new short film festival is being held at 107 Project’s South Eveleigh venue from Thursday 27 – Saturday 29 April. Offering four short film sessions, accompanied by the latest insights from this country’s leading social justice and environmental campaigners.

We demand full and free access to gender affirming healthcare, the complete abolition of Australia's injustice system, safe access to public housing and emergency shelter, transition leave.
