Sovereign, First Nations people across the nation call on everyone to join us for a NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION! 👊
We are marching against the continued rise of racism, fascism and white supremacy, the attack by Neo-Nazis on Camp Sovereignty and anti-immigration attacks. Gadigal Country will gather on September 13, 12pm at Hyde Park to make it clear: sovereignty was never ceded, and as sovereigns, we will not allow racism and fascism to take place here.
Blackfullas have been resisting attacks from Nazis and white supremacists for generations. These are not new threats, they are values and beliefs emboldened since the founding of this country. When governments like the CLP and the Northern Territory Government push racist policies and carry out institutional violence or even through racist media, that violence drips down and gives confidence to those who attack Blackfullas and immigrants on the street. It is everyone’s duty and responsibility as allies, as settlers, as people living on this country to fight fascism, racism and white supremacy and to follow the cause led by the sovereign people of this nation.
