Blockade IMARC activists rallied outside Melbourne‘s Magistrates Court on November 18 in solidarity with people who were arrested during the protests outside the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) in October.

During the protest, police threw people against concrete floors and walls, charged horses and used batons and chemical spray.

It was standing room only in the courthouse, where concerns were raised over gaps in police body camera footage.

Protesters will return to court in December.
