In the midst of the catastrophic Syrian Civil War the people of Northern Syria have come together to create a new democratic and particularly feminist society that systematically dismantles patriarchy. However, central to this project is the empowerment and protection of women and children in this very volatile region. That is why we have decided to put this fundraiser on, featuring Arafura, Boudicca, Hangman, and Windradyne (with more to be announced soon). All money raised will go directly to Hêvî foundation who are primarily interested in improving the status and position of women and youth in Northern Syria. You can see more on their website.
