Why
It is time for our next Annual General Meeting!
As well as some exciting guest speakers, we will be looking back on a huge year, looking ahead, voting on whether to become legally incorporated, and filling roles for our Coordinating Committee, our team who guide and facilitate our different activities, across the organisation.
All members are eligible to nominate and vote on roles. If you are not sure if you are signed-up, ask us, or sign-up here. Here are the roles that we are hoping to fill:
- Membership and Communications Secretary (and Assistant)
- Minutes Secretary (and Assistant)
- Public Officer (and Assistant)
- Treasurer (and Assistant)
- Campaigns Coordinator (and Assistant)
- Membership and Recruitment Coordinator (and Assistant)
- Media Coordinator (and Assistant)
- Social Media Coordinator (and Assistant)
- Communications Coordinator (and Assistant)
- Events and Logistics Coordinator (and Assistant)
- Inclusion Officer (and Assistant)

We like to share the work around, so our hope is that we can get multiple people working in these roles, as well as some Assistants.
If you are interested, but not sure if you have the capacity, reach out, we can chat about how we can support you to be in a role, share a role, or be an assistant to someone else.
How to nominate: Send a brief, 1-page statement, with some info about your background, interests, and skills, and why you would like to fill that role (or share that role with someone else), to [email protected].
