Why

This event will take place on unceded Gadigal land. The ongoing impacts of colonisation cause disproportionate levels of disability and illness amongst First Nations people. We recognise the struggle for First Nations justice is intimately linked with disability justice, and honour the staunch resistance to colonial violence for hundreds of years, continuing to this day

Please join us at Sydney Town Hall on August 1 at 10am to protest the NDIS bill for a second national day of action.

In the last 2.5 months, the disability community has been ceaseless in our campaigning - street actions, growing our networks, community education, participation in the senate hearing, thousands of submissions, thousands of calls and emails. We delayed the passing of the bill and won ourselves more time to fight - let's keep fighting!

Accessibility information and march route will come very soon. Check the Facebook event message directly with any specific questions. The event will be live streamed on Instagram.

If you would like to get involved in organising, you are welcome and you are needed! Please message on Facebook.

Online national forum July 14: Online Community Forum – NDIS Cuts: What’s Happening.

In person community forum in Sydney July 25, details to come! It will be a chance for us to learn, strategise, and just be together for a day of talks and workshops

We have until August 14 when the Bill returns to Senate for a vote to escalate our actions, we hope you join us or continue to agitate in anyway possible to you.
