Tonight, the City of Charles Sturt Council will debate an important Motion on Notice from Councillor Katriona Kinsella, calling on the Mayor and CEO to formally seek answers from the Premier regarding the Greg Norman golf project and its impacts on John E Brown Park.

Despite the significant implications for tree canopy, biodiversity, urban heat and public open space, elected members have received no briefing from the State Government on the proposal.

This is an opportunity for our community to show its support for transparency, accountability and meaningful consultation.

Please join us for a calm, respectful and visible presence in the public gallery. A full gallery sends a clear message that our community cares about protecting our public spaces and expects decisions affecting them to be made openly and with genuine community involvement.
