Franklin Square
70 Macquarie St
Hobart TAS 7000
Australia

Why

Join the national rally!

When disability support is cut, the work does not disappear. It is pushed back onto disabled people, mothers, parents, families, unpaid carers and a highly feminised workforce.

This is too much labour. Support is a right. Care work is work.

For updates check the Facebook event.

Accessibility

Here is some accessibility information ready for the rally! We will make a separate post with live stream information. Source: Instagram.

Location: Franklin Square
Date: Sunday 21 June

Please know we will not have an Auslan interpreter at this event. Nicole Moran one of our event organisers, will be arriving early and is happy to assist people with iPhones to try to set up live captioning on their personal iPhone. She will try to remain at the information table to help with this when she isn't speaking.

Here is some information that may assist people in accessing live captioning on their phone in advance:

Built-In Phone Captions
