Why

Our Campaigns Team seeks to build pressure for urgent action on the poverty and the housing crises through a wide range of tactics, including protests, forums, community outreach, mutual aid, media engagement, lobbying, policy and research work, and other tools.

With the State Election campaign well and truly behind us, and our huge Grassroots Campaigning School nearing the end (that is our 8-month program to build the activist skills of 20 people who have experienced poverty), our Campaigns Team is looking to the future:

  • What poverty and housing issues do we want to fight on?
  • What goals do we want to set for our team?
  • What activities would we each like to focus on?
  • How can we support each other to be active?
