Rasha Abu Dayyeh is an environmental activist, water and environmental specialist, and gender justice advocate with over 17 years of experience in environmental leadership, sustainability, and community empowerment. Her work focuses on environmental and climate justice, water rights, and strengthening community resilience in the face of occupation ,ecological and social challenges.

She holds a certification in Environmental Leadership and Sustainability from University of California, Berkeley. She co-developed initiatives that promote sustainable water practices and empower families facing water scarcity.

Rasha has collaborated with a wide range of organizations and educational institutions to deliver environmental education and training, particularly for youth and women. She is also a strong advocate for women’s leadership in technology and social change, supporting knowledge-sharing and mentorship.

Her current work includes research on the environmental impacts of war, pollution, and long-term ecological damage, with a focus on justice, accountability, and the protection of communities and nature. She is passionate about connecting environmental action with gender justice and amplifying the voices of women defending people and the planet.

Dr. Jordana Silverstein is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, focusing on the history of Australian government policy towards child refugees. She is also the author of several notable works, including "Cruel Care: A History of Children at Our Borders" and "Anxious Histories: Narrating the Holocaust in Jewish Communities at the Beginning of the Twenty-First Century."

Jasmine Duff is a national co-convenor of Students for Palestine. She was an organiser of the Gaza solidarity encampments which swept across the country and writes regularly for Red Flag.
