This is a march to honour the true history of Yuwi Country, to break the silence around invasion and genocide, and to uplift the Matriarchs who have carried people, culture, resistance, and survival through generations of violence and dispossession.
The theme is “Strong Blak Women: Matriarchs.”
We march to listen.
We march to witness.
We march to stand beside the women who have held communities together since colonisation and genocide were forced onto these sacred lands.
Show up. Bring your people. Bring respect.
