Why

Guniwaya Ngigu (We Fight) is a film about the 1982 Land Rights Protests in Brisbane, when hundreds of families and activists occupied Musgrave Park to fight against the Commonwealth Games and the racist Queensland government of Joh Bjelke-Petersen.

Join us on the Sunday before Invasion Day, for a screening of the film, and discussion of its continued relevance to us today, hosted by Anti Colonial Research Action (ACRA).

This event will take place out doors at the Embassy Fire, details may change in case of bad weather! For any questions contact ACRA at [email protected].
