We cannot and must not remain silent in the face of the widespread crimes of the Islamic Republic.
According to shocking reports, the repression of protests in Iran has entered a bloody and unprecedented phase. Under the cover of a near-total internet blackout, on-the-ground evidence points to the killing of thousands of protesters—people targeted with live ammunition and machine guns mounted on military vehicles in a blatant, systematic, and premeditated campaign of violence. Over the past two weeks alone, thousands more have been arrested and imprisoned.
We call on all freedom-loving people to join this protest rally.
Our presence sends a clear message to the world: we gather to demand an immediate end to the killings and to stand in solidarity with the people of Iran in their struggle for the overthrow of the Islamic Republic. We emphasize that freedom is not achieved through foreign intervention or war, but solely through the will and struggle of the people themselves.
