Why

Please join us and many others in commemorating the life and resistance of Dundalli, appointed resistance warrior who fought against the occupation of these lands in Jinibara, Kabi Kabi, Wakka Wakka, Yuggera - Jagera, Turrbal, Kombumerri and Quandamooka lands, colonially known as so-called “South East Queensland“.

Dundalli was an appointed Resistance Warrior who fought against colonial occupation representing multiple countries in doing so. The commemoration of his hanging pays tribute to his efforts against the kolony, descendants who speak today and the responsibility all people have of knowing the true history of the lands they live on.
