Why
Public Sector workers across South Australia are struggling and it’s time the Government respects your work and pays you what you’re worth.
Child Protection workers perform some of the most challenging and vital work in our state - protecting vulnerable children, supporting families in crisis, and making critical decisions every day under immense pressure. Yet, you are doing this work in a system that’s under-resourced, understaffed, and unsustainable. Chronic fatigue, unmanageable caseloads and unsafe workloads have become the norm. Enough is enough.
It’s time to rally at the electorate office of the Minister for Child Protection, Katrine Hildyard. We will rally because you cannot protect children without protecting the workers who care for them.
Join your colleagues and supporters as we take our claim for fair pay and safe workloads directly to the Minister’s office.
Snap Actions
We will be commencing weekly snap action rallies. To keep the Government on their toes, we will be releasing the location details of these rallies at short notice.

- 12:30pm Wednesday the 5th of November – Tom Koutsantonis’ Office
- 12:30pm Wednesday the 12th of November – Nick Champion's Office
- 12:30pm Wednesday the 19th of November – Katrine Hildyard's Office
- 12:30pm Wednesday the 26th of November for a Mega Rally with PSA March to Parliament House
The third rally will take place at Katrine Hildyard's Office.
All SA Government employees covered by the Salaried Enterprise Agreement and supporters are welcome to attend. We highly encourage non-member to join the PSA, to join our fight for fair pay & and to receive exclusive union support. This fight needs you!
Transport
