Why

Anti-Poverty Network SA is an alliance of people affected by or concerned about poverty, unemployment and the housing crisis, and a voice for South Australians on low incomes.

We are run by, and advocate for, job-seekers, low-income workers, sole parents, aged and disability pensioners, carer's, students, community workers, and more.

Join our Northern Branch for a free coffee and enjoy some company, and a chat. Zito's cafe is just near the Coles entrance of the Elizabeth Shopping Centre.

This week we'll also have an information session about our brand new Grassroots Activism School (GAS) – an 8-month, in-person program that helps people with lived experience of poverty build skills, confidence, and community to speak out and create change.

Whether you’ve done a bit of activism or none at all, this is a supportive, fun space to learn how to turn your ideas and experiences into action.

Come along, bring your questions, and find out how you can be part of something powerful!

Email [email protected] if you have questions, or we'll see you there!

For scheduling updates check the Facebook event.
