PSA Leadership, along with a PSA Councillor, met with Minister Alice Rolls today to discuss the deep disappointment expressed by our membership in relation to the Social Worker Registration Scheme being abruptly axed by the State Government on Friday 19 June 2026.
This was without consultation with PSA members.
Following results received from our PSA survey, and endorsement from members who participated in today’s webinar, it has become abundantly clear that PSA members are ready to escalate action.
The PSA will be working in conjunction with the HSU to orchestrate a rally to be held in front of Minister Rolls’ electorate office and we ask anyone impacted by this matter to attend.
