Alexa Stuart is a climate justice activist with Rising Tide in Newcastle, NSW. She who was a key leader in the Newcastle School Strike 4 Climate and a co-coordinator of the Gas Free Hunter Alliance.
She spoke to Green Left about the plans for the biggest-ever "people's blockade" of Newcastle’s coal port (the biggest coal port in the world) on November 24-27.
From August 17 to October 9, Rising Tide will conduct a nationwide speaking tour to build the blockade (details here).
