Why

At least 47 women have been killed in Australia in 2026 alone, join this rally to stand against sexual and gender based violence.

We cannot keep waking up to headlines about extreme gender-based and sexual violence while our governments, institutions, sporting club cultures, education and economics systems never change.

This is an inclusive and intersectional campaign, transg people and sex workers are welcome.

Demands:

  • Grant the Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Commission real powers to hold governments to account
  • Fund front-line services across Australia
  • Develop a national register of offenders of domesric and sexual violence
  • Work with the sector to urgently improve consent, relationship and sex education nationally
  • Establish a national campaign tackling sexism, misogyny, homophobia and transphobia
  • Strengthen protections for victim-survivors
  • Improve police and judicial system responses to victim-survivors
