Perth rally to defend WikiLeaks

March 1, 2011
Issue

Rally in Perth to defend wikielaks, support Julian Assange and free Bradley Manning.

Rally is protesting the result of Assange's extradition hearing. Where the judge decided he should be extradited to Sweden, when he has still not being charged with anything. This puts him in more danger of being extradited to US, where senior politicians there have being calling for him to assassinated and treated as a terrorist.

The rally is also demanding the immediate release of Bradley Manning, a private in US army who has being held without charge for about eight months in solitary confinement without access to the outside world and he is regularly tortured. As he is alleged to have leaked files to wikileaks. Files that expose the war crimes of the US government.
