Why

In late December 2018, two bodies had been gutted and weighed down with a cement pole in the Mekong River, floating on the shore in Nakhon Phanom Province. Later, it was confirmed that they were the bodies of "Comrade Phuchana" (on the left), or Mr. Chatchan Bupphawan, and "Comrade Kasalong" (on the right), or Mr. Kraidet Luelert.

Mr. Surachai Sae-dan (centre) disappeared from his residence in Laos on 2 December 2018, along with Comrade Phuchan and Comrade Kasalong. Mr. Surachai Sae-dan's fate is still unknown.

All three are among the 86 people who have been forcibly disappeared by the Thai authority, and there are many more who don't even have names for identification.

Join us in mourning for the enforced disappeared victims, their families, and Thai Democracy. For time, date and location updates please check this Facebook event.
