Fifty people rallied outside the Thai consulate on October 20 to show support for the democracy movement in Thailand.

Speakers said they supported free speech and bringing the Thai monarchy under constitutional control. They also called on the Australian government to support the popular movement, not the Thai government.

Hong Kong democracy movement activists supported the action to build solidarity across struggles.
