The Scottish Socialist Voice, newspaper of the Scottish Socialist Party, has celebrated the publication of its 200th issue. The Voice was initially published in 1996 as the fortnightly paper of Scottish Militant Labour, and became the paper of the SSP in October 1998. The Voice went weekly in May 2001, becoming the first weekly socialist paper both printed and published in Scotland since the 1950s.
