SBS soccer feast

SBS television is to broadcast a "feast of soccer" during May in a warm-up for the network's exclusive broadcast of the 1994 World Cup finals in the US during June and July. There will be live international matches and soccer documentaries on offer to supplement coverage of the local competition.

The European Cup Winners Cup final between England's Arsenal and Italy's Parma in Copenhagen, will be telecast via satellite on Thursday, May 5, 5am.

The UEFA Cup (second leg) between Austria Salzburg and Inter Milan will be screened on Thursday, May 12, 5am. This competition is played on a home and away format between teams finishing second, third and fourth in their respective national league competitions. This second leg of the final will be played at the Prater Stadium in Vienna.

The FA Cup final will be telecast live from Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 14, 10.55pm. The final will feature London's Chelsea and the north of England's Manchester United, the red devils. A full replay of the game will be televised on Sunday, May 15, 12.30pm.

The European Champions' Cup, highlights on Thursday, May 19, 5am.

The Scottish Cup final, Saturday, May 28, 2pm. A delayed coverage of the game between Rangers and Dundee United.
