The People’s Blockade will be lots of fun for kids!
As well as the very special events below, there will be face-painting on the beach & paddling (with guardians) on the water. There will also be a kids' space in the adjacent park; a shady place to rest, with toys, games and craft activities.

9:15AM SUN 26: SAND SCULPTURE DISPLAY & WORKSHOP, with master sand sculptor, Steve Machell
Steve is one of Australia’s most experienced professional sand sculptures. Steve will delight attendees with his sand creation and share skills of the art, for young and old to get creative in the sand around the theme of protecting our planet. BYO a bucket and spade (or shovel, if you want to get serious!).

For people of all ages to see the world as ecologists!
Where grevilleas grow and basil blooms, Amelie Ecology brings you ‘An insect cabaret!’ in a buzzing mix of Ecology-PoP tunes…Cross-pollinating experience as a pollinator ecologist with musical theatre, folk, electronica and original PoP Ecology bee-ts, Amelie Ecology brings life to the life sciences. Because we can all BEE scientists!
Sat 25, 12:30PM & Sun, 1PM: KIDS' PIRATE SCHOOL (in Kids' Tent in the Park)
Join an interactive performance led by Captn' N' Luke Silly. You’ll sing shanties, hunt treasure and learn all manner of useful sea fare’n skills. Join the pirates banding together in unity to fight against the companies pillaging our resources and climate!
