Getting the message out
There are a range of ways to network to other progressive organisations and people with Green Left Weekly. Obviously you can write copy on a political happening, place an entry in "Meetings, Parties, Anything..." or you can advertise.
Advertising in Green Left Weekly means you get your message out to our 8000 readers each week in the most striking way. A display ad in Green Left splashes your upcoming event, special offer, or progressive service across the Green Left page in a bold way.
Organisations like One World Travel, Campaign Against Police Violence, and even the Salvation Army have used Green Left to successfully highlight their profile among the progressive community. The range and breadth of organisations advertising in Green Left grows with every issue.
At Green Left we'd like to offer our advertising space for free. But as a non-profit organisation we have to charge to meet our expenses. Our rates are very low, however, and we give significant discounts to repeat advertisements.
An alternative way of introducing a service or range to all of Green Left's 1500 subscribers is to insert your material into the paper. Catalogs, brochures, and leaflets, can be inserted to all subs, or targeted to only those subscribers in a particular area. Our fee for this service simply covers the extra postage required in each case.
For committees or organisations with a little more to say, Green Left will also take four- or eight-page supplements. Supplements this year have included Venceremos (publication of the Committees In Solidarity with Latin America and the Caribbean), the Network of Australian Development Education Centres bulletin, Solidarity (independent voice for working people, and many others.
Copies extra to the Green Left print run can be ordered also, allowing committees to distribute outside Green Left's broad network.
For more information on any advertising service carried by Green Left please call Claudine in the business office on (02) 690 1230. All our rates are at cost, ensuring the service Green Left provides is open to everyone.
