Access News — Melbourne community TV, channel 31, has excellent coverage of industrial, environmental and community actions throughout Victoria. Access News broadcasts every Monday at 8pm. The November 29 show features "Three weeks at the Jabiluka blockade", which includes background on uranium mining in Australia and examines the reasons why people joined the blockade. Ph 9633 6976.

Science Friction: Creation — Half of the US population believes the natural world was created by a god. Christians are stepping up their campaign to have biblical creation taught in schools, and science is battling to prevent this. ABC-TV, Tuesday, November 30, 2am.

Chrissy — This documentary, made by young film-maker Jacqui North, provides a compassionate insight into the world of Christy May Napier, a young lesbian, ex-runaway and street kid, who faced death after contracting AIDS. More than 1000 women in Australia, half of them mothers, are HIV-positive. Chrissy is being screened on SBS on World AIDS Day, Wednesday, December 1, 8.30pm.
