Activists with the Trans Justice Project protested for the second time, on August 29, outside the electorate office of Queensland health minister Tim Nicholls office to oppose the Liberal National Party’s decision to halt gender affirming care for trans youth.

This protest attracted more than double the numbers of the one on July 21.

Activists chanted and held up signs and banners in front of Nicholls’ office before hearing from trans gender activists as well as parents of trans teens and trans allies.

Some protesters chalked their demands in the car park, including for the government to reinstate gender-affirming care for trans teens.
