On Monday January 4 2021 a civilian initiated ceremony will be held at ANZAC Square in Brisbane. It will be held to honour the work of WikiLeaks journalist Julian Assange and former British Army Major and Australian Army lawyer David McBride in their service to Australians and the people of the Middle East.
The Australian government is pursuing criminal prosecutions against a former Australian secret agent “Witness K” and his lawyer Bernard Collaery, who revealed that Australia had bugged East Timor cabinet meetings in 2004 during negotiations over the Timor Sea boundary and its oil and gas reserves. See here, here and here for more info.
The rally will be held in-conjunction with…

The detainees will be holding their own silent peaceful protest out on their balconies.
