Here we go again! Our 11th community picket of Bisalloy Steels will take place from Sunday, November 15. We will once again be shutting down Bisalloy’s genocidal operation with food, music, kids’ spaces, workshops and more. Keep an eye out for our picket training coming up soon!
The genocidal supply chain starts in our community. Stand with us to cut it.
Bisalloy will soon produce steel for AUKUS submarines, further tying Wollongong to US wars.
Bisalloy produces steel used by the IDF, israeli police and israeli settlers for armoured vehicles used against Palestinians. These vehicles can be fitted with machine guns and gas canister launchers.
Bisalloy is the only company in the Southern Hemisphere that makes quenched and tempered steel plate - an essential part of the genocide supply chain, and a point of weakness.
Join the picket
We want as many people as possible to come together to block the gates and disrupt operations.
We all contribute to blocking the gates at Bisalloy, and there are lots of ways to do this. Our different tactics are a strength.
Together, we decide what happens at the picket h through meetings and discussions.
How do I get there?
Bisalloy Steels is a 17 minute walk from Unanderra Train Station, a 10 minute drive from Wollongong, or about a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney.
