Why

A one-day, family-friendly flotilla at the World’s Largest Coal Port.

  • BYO vessel if you can, or borrow one of ours.
  • Speeches.
  • Food trucks.

Together, let’s get MORE VESSELS OUT THAN EVER BEFORE – to demand new jobs and funding for coal workers and a safe, liveable climate for everyone.

As the world's attention once again turns to the urgent challenge of climate action, and world leaders gather for the annual United Nations climate talks (COP31) we will once again show what genuine climate leadership and decisive action look like.

Please note: this is not a civil disobedience protest, meaning there will be no arrests. Instead, the aim of this day is to maximise the number of people and vessels on the water to create a powerful image of the HUGE public demand for a transition plan and a positive future beyond coal.
