Why

Join us on Friday 30 October 2026 as we come together as a community to stand against gender-based violence and reclaim our right to feel safe, respected and free from fear.

  • Meet: 4.30pm outside West Kempsey Hotel (Top Pub)
  • March together to the Band Box
  • Hear from community speakers about Reclaim the Night and gender-based violence
  • Movie starts: 5.30pm
  • Wear purple and show your support!

Reclaim the Night is a global movement calling for an end to gendered violence, victim-blaming, fear and intimidation.

Stand Together. Walk Together. Reclaim the Night.

Everyone is welcome to join us and show that our community says NO to violence.
