Enjoy a community dinner and an entertaining and inspiring movie, End of the Line: The Women of Standing Rock (USA/Finland, 2021), which is screening at Pachamama House, Hamilton, on Sunday 30 August.

This is the incredible story of a group of Indigenous women willing to risk their lives to stop the Dakota Access oil pipeline construction that desecrated their ancient burial and prayer sites and threatens their land, water, and very existence. Brought to us by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Shannon Kring. Run time is 1h22m.

  • 5:15pm - dinner is served
  • 6pm - film screening
  • 7.30pm - share short reflections (optional)

Cost

$0 - $10 for the film, vegan dinner, popcorn and tea!
